My 17 year old son is there for residential treatment for marijuana. This seems like a nice place to be. I have not encountered anyone that was rude or disrespectful to me or him. I have not had a problem with anyone or anything at this point except for the paperwork. Upon admission, I had to take two quizzes as part of the process in order to be able to visit my son. Two of them. I am not the drug user! I am not the problem. I have never in my life done a drug or use alcohol. Then, I was invited to Family night where I was told that this includes a two hour class that I have to attend and after that, I can visit him for 30 minutes. That is completely ridiculous. He told me not to even bother visiting. We both already believe that treatment is a waste of time for him. He has no plans on stopping smoking and has made that clear to everyone. This is only a step that has to be taken towards him getting off parole. So, I am being forced to do quizzes and classes for someone who doesn't wan treatment. AND....Im not the addict. The whole thing should be based around him and him getting sober which he doesn't want to be but even if he did, this makes me want to not participate at all and just see him when he comes home.
I was a resident here in 2000. A wonderful experience with introduction to lessons that I am currently living by. Thanks Darren, Dennis, Ron, big John. Cheryl, Alvin.
Caring, kind staff, nice program, neat & clean
After days of frustration Jodine was able and willing to literally jump through hoops to help me with a frustrating problem. Thank you so much for going above and beyond. Secondly if it wasn't for Chestnut I don't know if my son would be as successful if it wasn't for Chestnut. Thanks again Jodine.
Amazing staff that are professional and very good at what they do.
